Wildlands
A collaborative immersive performance piece
My Role : Set and Costume design, Milliner
The Wildlands. Where the wild ones roam. An examination of human creation and destruction through a performative environment. You will encounter an interactive archive room, witness the experimental movement of performers and puppets of this world and ponder the question...
What do we leave behind?
AutoCAD and Model box
This piece was located at the Ugly Duck in Tower Bridge, London.
We were provided a floor plan, as a group we measured out the whole space. Which I then turned into sections and elevations of the space.
As a design group we used my elevations to make a 1:50 scale model box of the space.
Head Dresses
I made the head dresses for a trio of performers in collaboration with Laura Burman who constructed the costumes.
To make these I soldered metal rods together. We wanted the hierarchy within the group to be shown through the style of their headpieces.

The Collaborators
This was a collaboration between two courses at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama: Design for Performance 2025 and Experimental Arts and Performance 2025.
We all worked together to achieve the concept, design and choreography for The Wildlands.
Design for Performance 2024 did take on a more traditional role of Set and Costume designers and Costume Constructors as we had these skills already.
